Great doctors. Have been going here for years. However, the wait times are consistently long. Count on spending at least 1 to 1.5 hours here every time you go. I know people who have stopped going because of the routinely long wait times. Here's what to expect at a typical visit (just went yesterday):
3. A long wait (30 mins or more) in an inner waiting room for the doctor.
2. A technician will see you and thoroughly examine your eyes including determining proper corrections, pressure checks, etc. Also, will talk to you about what is going on.
Absolutely Ridiculous!!! My Child had an appointment at 9:45 this morning. We were there at 9:30 Dr Kieval did not see her until 11:20 and he thinks this is completely acceptable? He only had to check a spot in the corner of her eye and compare it to a picture from last year. He only saw her for 5 min. and tells me to come back next year. Are you kidding me!!!!! Sickening!! Oh and it would not let me post until I put up a star it should be no stars!!!
I was there yesterday and was there for almost 2 hours. The quality is top-notch, but be prepared to invest the time.
The doctor is nice and excellent, though.
4. The doctor will then see you, do some additional examinations to determine the health of your eyes and talk to you about your concerns, etc. Very thorough and never rushed.
Time management of this clinic is not professional. Had an "appointment" at 3:30 and now is 4:40 but still my doctor doesn't show up without any notice.. As I just asked what's going on and complained, their response is "sorry but this is typical waiting time, and waiting more or not is up to you." They don't respect patients' time at all, neither do they tell me in advance how much time I would wait. At least they should have told me if there is a delay..
1. Brief wait (10-15 mins) in the reception area.
I don't think I will come back here again no matter how good the doctors are. They are friendly, but my time is precious too. 1+ hour waiting time is just not acceptable. Save yourself some time. There are good doctors elsewhere.
Easy to get to, and easy parking. The doctors are very good. However, as noted, be in for a LONG wait between seeing the various specialists and getting called for the first time. They are very good reminding you when your appointment is. Lots of text messages! Doctors get five stars, waiting so much gets one star. This is the average!
