Gold's Gym in West Concord is a great deal for the person who wants to simply do their workout routine, take a nice, hot shower, and then continue with their day.

its a great place to have a real gym experience with free weights total workout in Concord MA. The Beede center is a expensive place with hardly any real equipment. Golds has a big open, sunny space, its never crowded and the staff is actually very nice.

Gold's Gym in West Concord is a hidden jewel. I've been a member for over 5 years, and I'm there, on average, 3 times a week.

Kinda sketch and everything is old and falling apart but you'll get your workout done. Paid $15 cash for a day pass.

I used to belong to the "Taj Mahal" down the road toward Maynard. No complaints there either, except that it cost 3 times more than Gold's for essentially the same thing.

Horrible gym!! I've always been in shape and I just go to the gym to do my thing. However there are a lot of gym rats there who aren't in that great a shape, probably because they spend so much time talking and people-watching, which irritates the crap out of me. Also, I just wanna work out and mind my business, not have fruitcakes watch me. A more measurable issue is the fact that the equipment doesn't get cleaned unless members clean them. This is the weakest Gold's Gym I have ever been to and I literally mean weak!! For a gym with very little, it is too expensive. Overall, you can feel the evil in this place. It's that thick! I would tell you not to come here, but there's a high probability you are evil too, so this may just be the place you've been looking for.

The staff are pleasant and helpful, the facility is clean, and the equipment is up to date and well maintained. There are ample numbers of devices on which to train (I rarely have to wait on a treadmill to do my 3 mile run). I also do weight training on the circuit machines, and I've never had a problem with their operation. While I do not do free-weights, I've never heard anyone in the men's locker room complain.

I only joined this gym because I needed a trainer following a major orthopedic surgery. The gym is dirty and equipment is not new or well maintained. That said, I loved my trainer. But now my circumstances have changed and I need to cancel my membership. I contacted the gym directly, and they told me I had to call ABC Financial. I called them and they told me I have to send a certified letter in order to cancel my membership. In 2017, this is an arcane and outdated way of doing business. They might as well be using the Pony Express. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and spread the word. Their processes are even more outdated than their equipment!
