Very Very well maintained H/W store
Not too good of a selection, and the prices are rather high... Staff is very friendly though!
I usually go to my local Ace. I had a gift card for Rockys, and happened to be near a Rocky's and figured I'd give it a shot. I went in and asked if they had routers. Routers, being the tool for woodworking that spin bits really fast and cut wood. The guy told me no, and that I should check radioshack. I called 6 other Rocky's locations and they were no better. I finally went back to the store. The reason I gave it 2 instead of 1 stars is because the guys at the store were pretty nice. The problem is that the guy, when I explained to him what I wanted still didn't understand what a router was. All in all not terribly impressed. Their selection is weak, their prices seem high. I don't like going to Home Depot or Lowes, but if it means not going to Rocky's I'd consider it.
The staff here are kind and helpful. The selection is limited by the size of the store, but they are perfect for your basic hardwares needs. Also they always have ice melter when others have sold out before a big snow storm.
The gentlemen in the back will always be very kind and helpful. They are knowledgeable, patient, and have your best interests at heart, making this place a frequent stop for me.
