Dont get me wrong because of the one star, its a nice place.

After moving to Concord last fall, I can see why you would want to visit Walden Pond from anywhere the in the world.

Soak in its majesty. Explore its mystery. Calm yourself by its shore.

for the park, Down side is the sand on the beach is not very good, a lot of rocks. and the water is ok for swimming.

No matter how good this place is, worth 0 star if you can not get in.

However, if you want to go there in good summer day, you have to go there very very early. i mean, definitely before 8:30am or something for weekend. Your best bet is when they re-open in the afternoon, which you have no idea when it will. I have seen it between 12:30 to 4:30. so you will have to go there and check the time and coming back.

If I could take stars away from you guys I would because you guys suck. you need more help on Sunday mornings I had to bring my oatmel back because it was full water to the brim, and had no can fruit or raisins available. Also my ice mocha had way too much mocha syrup and was totally disgusting and Couldn't even finish it. get more help in the mornings

And the stuff working there are not very friendly as well, especially the ones around the gate. I feels like this park is their own personal property multiple times.

I hope to see you there, soon!

We tried 3 times in different weekend. 10am; 9:30am; 9am. Disappointed 3 times in a row. I do randomly see open spot even when park is closed. instead of allowing ppl to line up, I guess close the park maybe the easiest way for them.

BTW, if you want to drop off someone around, they are stopping you saying the park is closed, where you clearly see a lot ppl walk in.

This place is majestic, and I have spent many days walking its shoreline, meeting new people, and playing in its cool water. People are swimming, reading, relaxing, playing a pick-up game of something, and loving all that the pond has to offer.

Like many other reviews, this park is beautiful tho packed with people. Staff work around the gate definitely weren't that friendly. There's no shower around so if you want to swim here you need to be prepared.

Park closed at 9AM, yes AM, on a good sunny day in the summer.
